Skid Plate - Get the best in under vehicle protection with this full skid plate set for the 2019+ Honda Talon 1000R and 1000X. Made from a custom blend of ultra-high molecular weight polymer, these 1/2" plastic skids are lighter than most traditional metal/aluminum skid plates and because they have no "impact memory", they absorb shocks to the bottom of your vehicle without the dents, galling and corrosion of metal/aluminum skids.
These plates are the first in the industry with the formed front leading edges featured on our skid plates. The leading edges protect vulnerable frame edges and wheel wells from blunt edge impacts and act as a starting edge to slide over obstacles without the resistance and drag of metal skid plates. Additionally, the skid plates for the Honda Talon 1000 are designed with extended side skid plates that help protect the vulnerable side panels of your vehicle.
Compare this skid set coverage with other skid manufacturer's like items - side skid plates are either sold separately or the bottom skid coverage ends at the factory mounting holes for OEM skids, leaving this part of your vehicle completely unprotected. The plates come in easy to install panels that cover the full length and breadth of the vehicle, including the front and rear differential.
