Cab Panels

For our Cabs, we use the best material possible from the marine industry where materials have been perfected over the years since the 1970s. It's 1000 denier marine fabric which an acrylic-coated 100% woven polyester fabric (1000 denier & waterproof) utilizing a proprietary process to coat both the top and bottom, thus allowing the fabric to be completely reversible. It is characterized by excellent strength, durability, tear and abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, UV and mildew resistance.
The stitching we use is also from the marine industry. Our enclosures are sewn using marine sewing thread made from selected high tenacity, heat resistant, continuous multifilament polyester yarns. The stitching has strengthening properties which gives it strength in flexibility.
Our YKK zippers are manufactured using a state-of-the art injection technique and are attached to the strongest cord and tape made. The YKK zippers offer crosswise strength that's unmatched in the industry.
We also use YKK hook and loop, commonly called Velcro. YKK manufactures the highest quality industrial strength hook and loop in the market with a cycle life of over 5,000 peels. This was designed for the US military.

Windshields, Vents and Clamps

For our Windshields, we will only use 1/4 inch Lexan. Don't consider thinner 3/16” Lexan period. It will be cheaper, but there is a good reason for that. We use 1/4" Lexan 9034 or 1/4" Scratch Resistant MR10 Lexan only. The Clamps we use are Loop Clamps, Quick Install Straps & Quick Connect Clamps. 

Our Dual Vents are a set of vents for the Driver and Passenger. Depending on the width of the windshield, you will get a panel that can individually open and close on each side, or open and close for both at the same time for narrower windshields.

Loop Clamps are strong and would never let you down. The problem with them is, installing and removing your Windshield panels is slow, but still can be done OK. For a 2 piece Windshield like yours, I would make that the 3rd choice on your list.

Quick Install Straps are every bit as good as the Quick Connect Clamps but are very cheap to buy. These were designed for the military and will not let you down, They won't rip, rot or tear and are UV rated. They were tested for over 2000 peels before they gave up. A lot of people are put off with the straps as they think it is just like normal Velcro. It is not. This is made by YKK, called Hook & Loop and is military grade.
